The District is a 12-square-mile area consisting of both unincorporated Harris County, approximately five square miles, with the remaining seven square mile area within the City of Houston. The District, located at the crossroads of Interstate 45 and the North Sam Houston Parkway, includes 68 hotels, Greenspoint Mall, more than 100 apartment complexes and residential single-family neighborhoods, as well as large corporations. There are approximately 4,000 companies with 63,000 employees in the Greenspoint District.   The business heart of Greenspoint is also just minutes away from the nation’s 8^th busiest airport, Bush Intercontinental (IAH).
